How we overhauled legacy IT systems to transform efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
The challenge
The Victorian branch of a large global not-for-profit organisation supporting thousands of people a year, needed to overhaul its entire IT system. The legacy systems were outdated, inefficient and incapable of providing the level of integration the organisation needed as it expanded its activities. This was impacting the not-for-profit’s ability to communicate with other state branches and compromised its day-to-day operational performance.
The outcome
Infinet worked closely with the client to swiftly conduct a whole of business IT audit and provided the strategic counsel and technical expertise to implement an end-to-end IT transformation, requiring a total rebuild and redesign of all systems.
Microsoft, Office 365, Juniper Networks, along with best-in-market NBN connectivity, was deployed to optimise all business functions, improve communication with other state branches and transform the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
Because of the strong trust and confidence developed by the client during the IT transformation project, Infinet was subsequently awarded the long-term management of the organisation’s Victorian ICT operations.
